Company History
Greg Buerk and Jim Bell founded LabTech in July of 2005. Greg set out to make it easier to support many small businesses from a single location. Little did he know that he would be a pioneer in Managed Service Software. Greg Buerk worked with Josh Bucher to code the first version of LabTech. The product was officially launched and LabTech Software was created in January of 2007.
Seeing LabTech's potential, Greg brought Matt Nachtrab and Don McCallum into LabTech to help commercialize and market the software. LabTech 2.0 was launched in March of 2008.
In August of 2008 due to global demand, we opened our first international office in the UK to deal sales for the European region. This has enabled LabTech to offer a truly global service with localized support and implementations.
In January of 2009, LabTech had sold to over 50 partners. By August, LabTech grew beyond 100 partners using LabTech Software. Currently LabTech is approaching 1000 partners worldwide.
Company Mission
LabTech was designed and written by System Administrator with the goal of making IT support simpler. The mission of LabTech is to become the standard tool used by IT professionals internationally. LabTech is building a community of very talented System Administrators around the world to collaborate to lead the IT industry into the Managed Services space and beyond. LabTech is and will continue to be the most powerful IT management tool in existence at a price all businesses can afford.
